A Journal of Art and Literature
Rocinante is a labor of love on the part of the students. First created in the Spring Semester of 2001, it was a place for students in Creative Writing classes to showcase their work. It eventually evolved into a class of its own, where students would be involved in selecting the pieces to include in the journal from the submissions of the Warner community and creating a book out of those pieces. This class was closely tied with the English Major, and offered experience in designing and marketing a literary journal. With the removal of English as a major of study, the future of Rocinante was in jeopardy before it was revived the next year as a club, working with a new format: online.
