Spiritual Life & Local Churches
The college years are often a time of intense personal discovery. Campus Ministries exists to help you explore holistic spirituality. We want you to dive in to the opportunities here as you dive into your own questions and purpose.
Serving others is woven into the entire fabric of the WP experience including classes, athletics, residence life and more. You’ll find a number of co-curricular activities specifically devoted to helping you use your unique talents and gifts to make the world better for others, preparing you for a lifetime of meaningful servant-leadership. Warner Pacific’s Local Connect program links students to meaningful local, long-term service opportunities that align with your unique skill set and interests.
You can get involved by volunteering at a number of projects throughout the year. More details are available through the links below.
One great thing about being a part of a small campus community is that every student has the opportunity to lead! If you want to contribute to the campus and help build a community that values each of its diverse members, there is a place for you. We encourage you to take ownership of your experience here and get involved in something on campus that you are passionate about. You can help build a student body that is dynamic, inclusive, and aware of what is going on in our city, our country, and our world.
Student leadership through ASWPC includes roles in Student Government, the College Activities Board, Service Learning, Campus Ministries, and Residence Life. You can also lead on campus through positions in Athletics and through serving as a Peer Mentor through First Year Learning Communities. More information about each area is available through the links below.
Living on Campus
There's nothing quite like living on a college campus. You're near class, the library, and faculty offices. You're next door to someone in that 8 a.m. class who reminds you about that reflection paper due tomorrow. And that time you save commuting from home or an apartment? You can use it to study. Or work. Or explore Portland.
But most importantly, life on campus is about the people you get to know who can stay with you for life. Maybe it's the late-night conversations in the res halls, building a team to showcase your talent in the Undees, or cheering on your favorite Knights team, Residence Life gives you the chance to live and learn in a diverse, supportive, and vibrant campus community.
With two residence halls and a variety of apartment and house living options, there's flexibility on campus.
To learn more about Warner Pacific's housing options, which areas are open based on whether you're a first-year student, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior, and who is required to live on campus, click "learn more."
